    Description

    Authentic 1920s sheer lingerie in charming details! This camisole & panty combination is known as a teddy today, with a sheer net neckline edged in silk satin ribbon. Has cotton shoulder straps and simple pleats to the sides of the hip, with sexy side slits at the rounded hem. This chemise was originally stocked in a Louisiana drygoods store that opened in 1911... it literally sat boxed on the shelf for a hundred years. Condition is fair (see Condition Detail below).

    Never worn, has obvious holes in the net at front neckline (could be restored with a hand-sewn layer of net backing it), the silk satin ribbon is intact but fragile, there are barely perceptible traces of beige toning along the fold lines, those across the lower front hip are slightly noticeable
    Washing Instructions
    Cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, steam or carefully press while damp on medium-high setting
